how to help my sunburn?

i went to the beach and now im reaaally burnt on my face, how do i make it less tight and sore... and less ugly? i already have aloe aftersun lotion which i put on but it doesnt work that well. any suggestions?

The aloe that is a gel-type is the best stuff. The blue one has pain relief and the green one is more moisturizing.

swollen ankle from sunburn?

hi, i went to the beach monday and stayed in the sun for a few hours, applying suncream to my upperbody but neglecting my lower legs and feet (stupidly)
i am fairly pale in skin tone and have burned quite bad down the front of my legs and tops of my feet. i have been applying aftersun with aloe vera and it soothes the pain but my right ankle is now swollen, is this simply the burn healing because the other ankle is not swollen because the burn to the left foot and leg doesnt reach as far over the ankle, will this go down after a while?

try ice on it also. The burn caused inflammation of the lower leg which is part of the healing process.
