Which is better self tan - St Tropez or Fake Bake?

Hi, I am going on my hols in less than 3 weeks and as I am pale I want to give myself a bit of a nice tan before I go. I don't want to use sunbeds and so have decided to go to John Lewis one evening this week and pick up a self tan but am unsure which is best...need your input!

Do I buy St Tropez or Fake Bake! I am pale, blue eyes and brunette so looking for something that obvious I have a tan but not that I have been Tangoed!

Forgot to say I am going to Cornwall for a week and weather looks like it going to be crap and I don't want to go back to work and see everyones tan and look like a Polar Bear next to them!

St Tropez it is the best that is what i use and i put it on before i go to bed and wash it off the next morning and it leaves a lovely tan not a bright orange tan.
If you don't wash it off the next morning it will go orange though.
