Makeup For Teens. Please help. I'm BEGGING YOU!?

Plz don't say I'm too young.

So,
I have uneven skin, dark undereye circles, sensitive/combination skin, and roacea (whatever.).

What would you reccomend?

I can't use anything with SPF - in it.
I'm allergic to it.

I'm 12, so what can I use that wont freak my parents out, but help me not look so pale and, like, icky and crappy?

Would Bare Escentuals work for someone allergic to SPF? Its supposed to be natural, so it might not break me out. But I don't have $75 to take a risk!

Eek, I have some of those stuff you said too. Well first of all, you can't be allergic to SPF- It stands for sun protection factor, so your probably allergic to the chemicals in the product with the SPF.

Anyways, A LOT of brands make makeup for sensitive and combination skin. There is also products WITH SPF but a special kind for your type of skin. This means your skin won't get irritated when you use it.

When you pick your product, choose the tone that contrasts with your skin. For you, I would get one that's a bit more tan but not too tan so it doesn't look like a fake-bake.

For eyeshadow and blush, I would go for light pinks because it goes great with your skin tone.

Remember: washing your face really makes a difference! Aveeno makes great products for sensitive and combo skin. I reccomend the foaming cleanser for sensitive skin, which you can find in most drugstores. Use it 2 times a day and probably a makeup remover also.

Tip 2

Choose the right brush for the coverage you are looking for. The Flawless Application brush will give a flawless finish that is light to medium. The Kabuki brush will give a medium to full coverage based on the brush head being more firm and fuller in hair. The Maximum Coverage Concealer brush will allow for fab coverage in areas you need to conceal- imperfections, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars. You can use this brush to pre or post conceal on areas that you want more complete coverage.

Tip 3

Be sure to swirl-tap-buff. This is the exact instruction: Swirl- is to get the right amount of bareMinerals tucked into the brush, using the lid and a little amount of bareMinerals product. Tap- is because less is more, tapping off the excess will ensure you don't over apply. Buff- directly onto the skin to get the coverage you desire.
