I'm scared to go to bed tonight.?

Well earlier I was watching videos on YouTube about EVP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_voice_phenomenon) and now I'm scared to go to sleep because I'm not only scared of all the electronic devices in my room, but also any other paranormal activities. And I lay in bed awake for a long time even when I'm not stressed about something...I can't sleep in the living room, I don't know what I'd tell my parents. "I'm scared to go to sleep in my own room, but I'm 16." Please help, and answer soon, because my parents are going to kick me off the computer soon.

you know what i do when i'm feeling afraid? i sleep with my giant stuffed dog. i have my back against him so i feel safe, and it feels like another person is there with me. but since you probably don't have a giant stuffed dog, use a pillow.

EDIT: oh, and if it makes you feel better, i tried the whole EVP thing. nothing happened...
also, i used a ouija board, and i'm still alive and okay.
