What is the best self tanner to use for your face and neck area only?

My body is very tan, but my face seems to fall short of being just as tan, so I would love to know everyones opinions on the best self tanner, I dont want to lay in the tanning bed a million times in one day just to get an equal result for my body all over. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

Jergens makes a really great one! It is gradual so people won't notice that you are self tanning.. but your skin will get darker! It also has a little shimmer in it.. It is very nice!

Why is it when I go in the tanning bed my body gets tanned but NOT my face as much?

Should I remove all my makeup?
I do put tanning lotion on my face.
Where should my face be in the bed (under the square blue light or under the uv ray lights?)
Im confused why this is happening? I always tan soo quick and good

A lot of make up contains some sort of sunscreen, so that might be your problem. Also, take another look at any moisturizers you're using, as they might contain SPF as well. I feel the same way you do. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer which has like 15 SPF and then use Bare Minerals foundation which is another 25 SPF.

So check all that out then make sure. Even if your foundation doesn't have any SPF, it wouldn't hurt to take it off. You don't want your make up to clog any pores and cause breakouts, which happens a lot when your face is exposed to heat.

Don't put tanning lotion on your face, that's just asking for clogged pores. I'm sure you can find face-tanning lotion somewhere, or find a lotion that is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores.

I'm not sure where to put your face cause I've never used a tanning bed, so I can't help you out there! Sorry
