Why did my cat give birth on my bed whilst I was sleeping?

I put a plastic cat bed in my room for her to give birth in & it was comfortable but my cat preferred to give birth on my bed whilst I was sleeping in the bed, why did she?

probably because your cat feels affectionate to you, and feels comfortable with you. my cat did the same thing to me, but it's probably because she wants you to make sure she has safely delivered her babies. hope i helped and hope you enjoy the new kittens!
