How to clean a kabuki brush?

So i bought a kabuki brush from The Body Shop from their Nature's Minerals collection.

And i really love it. It's so soft and really good for mineral make-up application (foundation, blush, etc.)

and i was wondering, how do i clean it properly? I mean, i know these steps:

!.) Put a little bit of baby shampoo on the palm of your hand
2.) Swirl the kabuki brush into the the shampoo
3.) Gently squeeze of the excess
4.) Rinse with the bristles facing downwards
5.) ?
^ I've read that you shouldn't prop them upright because the water/ maybe leftover suds will run down the bristles into the glue that holds them and it might all just fall out (now we wouldn't want that would we?).
So, if i lay them flat to dry, wouldn't it "tilt" because of the "fluffiness" of the bristles? so that means the water could still run down the bristles and maybe lossen up the bristles/ fall out...and i don't want that to happen! (

why can't you just set it down side ways? I'm sure that will work
or you can try blow drying it. Be careful though. If you do blow dry
it make sure your blow dryer is on the lowest level and blow dry
it with the bristle facing the opposite way of the blow dryer air.
