Tanning and more tanning?

ok so basically I want the darkest tan possible before school starts, but im not headed to a salon anytime soon, thats not really my thing. I lay out in the sun alot and thats been working with an spf tanning oil. I ran out of that so now i have a dark tanning lotion but I still want to put oil over it.
I am making a homemade tanning oil with olive oil and carrot juice(no i am not putting iodine in it because i have the tanning lotion with spf in it) So here is the first question
How do I lessen the smell of the olive oil, if its a little too strong?
Second question,
What is the best self tanner product you have used? (nothing too pricey)

Do you have any tips to getting an even darker tan?

uhh I hate tanning. Just sitting there being all bored. -.-
So My perfect way of getting a tan is wearing Banana Boat tanning oil everywhere on my body. I wear as little as possible. (Bikini Top and bottoms.)
I put sunscrean On my shoulders and my checks because they seem to burn alot. Then I go for a run around the house for as long as I can. Run to the pool and do some laps. Dry out on my tanning bed thing then go running again.
I can't stand just laying there.
I get completments on my summer tans.
i tan as much as I can because in the winter I will be as pail as a ghost if I don't tan in the summer.

Olive oil is REALLY good for your skin. Try putting vinalla extract In your mixture to kill the smell of the oil.

....I Also do all that running and swimming to loose weight becuase I dont get much exercise in the winter.
