Help With Self Tanners!?

So last night I applied a self tanner (Clarins Instant Gel Sel Tanner). It looks pretty good, but i missed some spots! :/ So today when I apply it, should I apply it to just the spots I missed?

Also, if I wash my body and face, or shave, will the color come off?

Happens to me all the time.
I apply it to my whole body again, not just the
spots. And it usually evens out.

Yes, it does come off when you shave, and
also when you apply some types of lotion.
Just simply reaply afterwards. (:
