How to comfort mother after grandfathers death?

My.. My grandfather just died and my mom is in shock. She and me are both crying our eyes out, but its worse for her. She can barley talk to someone without yelling, "He's dead and I never got to see him!" and breaking into more tears. D; I don't know how to make her feel better. Please help! Shes gotten so depressed that shes getting sick!

I am not sure what you mean that"he's dead and i never got to see him" means. Was it that she never had the opportunity to see him in her life or in his time of dieing?If was the latter and she was a good daughter to her dad, that alone will ease her pain somewhat. The family is another way to help her because everyone will feel her pain as well

Mom should realize that everyone is hurting but that she needs to be strong to carry on.I would not stop talking about him He may be gone but never forget him. If mom wants to talk have an open ear and a shoulder for her to cry on if needs be.Tell her that you love her and feel very sad also and if you can be of some help and do as she asks you.
Make a special memory book of all their pictures together and maybe write a sweet poem in his memory.Tell her that he might not be here physically but that we will feel his presence around us.
I can see you love her honey and always try to be the best you can be for yourself and especially for mom. Now she needs you more then ever
and never forget to tell her how much you love her.

How to Comfort my friend after she broke up?

I don't know what to say to her. I haven't been friends with her for long, but she's really nice and she's the only friend that I think I might be able to actually trust. There was never anyone there for me my whole life and I really don't know how to do this stuff.

Whenever I've broken up with my boyfriends I didn't really care, but she seems really sad, and I don't want her to turn out like me, not trusting anyone.

spend time with her, make sure she knows that mayb if that boy doesnt care about her that you do care about her
there is many other fish in the sea and it that one boy doesnt matter
make sure she knows that you are there for her no matter what
