Complete Moisturizing Sunscreen

Need help soothing dead skin and sunburns?

My 12 year old son was on vacation in Mexico with his best friend with his mom (one of my best friends) for 1 week. I told her to make sure to completely slather him in sunscreen as often as needed and to reapply every hour. He came home today, He has a complete layer of reddish skin, with skin flaky and peeling from head to toe. I am a bit POed at my girlfriend not covering him up in the sun.

Right now he is sitting in the bath soaking. I have always taken care of his skin as well as mine, moisturizing daily etc.

What would be the best lotion to moisturize his skin and soothe the dead flaky skin?What do I repeat and what should I use daily and routinely, and how often? And lastly, what should I use as soon as he gets out of his bath? I have all the medicine I need to ease pain, so no worries about that.

i really recommend refrigerated aloe vera gel, my mum's a dermo, so i learned from her. it will soothe and gives moisture to his skin. it might sting just a teensy bit for a second or two, but it's only because the skin is so, well "thirsty" for moisture. refrigerated because it helps reduce that inflamed feeling. some relieving bath lotions can help too, but definatley use the aloe vera gel.
