yah it's the simpsons episode where homer and marge get in a fight because homer cant get insured because he's always almost dying, and then he gets upset and buys an RV and the kids end up taking the RV back to the dealer themselves to stop all the fighting, well while the kids are driving towards the end they fall off a cliff and land in a turkish boat..well yada yada yada..then a song comes on about something something ish tan bo...bum bum turkish delight..it goes something like that, what is the song and who is it by?

For a captivating, crazy, cosy week away, look no further than the cultural Morocco. Where snake charmers wander looking for tips, religion rules the roost and extreme temperatures take there toll. This phenomenal place offers something unique which you won’t find in most other tourist resorts. Visit Agadir where you’ll find some stunning, high standard properties, a beautiful promenade with beaches which stretch for miles and more and an up and coming harbour with modern, trendy shops being erected to create a contemporary, cool style.

The hotels here offer All Inclusive packages which will entice you to remain in the grounds all day long, but you must go for a wander as there’s so much of Morocco not to miss out on.

Overlooked by the Atlas Mountains like a barrier against all to protect this spectacular city, they glow in the night’s sky with astounding religious, Arabic writing etched into its cliff face. Standing aloof overlooking the coastline is the fabulous, infamous Kasbah. The Kasbah is home to many snake charmers and farmers with their sheep offering tourists to have there picture taken…for a price! There is a variety of restaurants outside of the hotel, each offering the same Moroccan food and the odd English bar offering English food, which tastes similar to everything else their.

When it comes to buying gifts for friends and family, don’t miss out on the all day market at The Grand Souk. With over 20 entrances into this huge market, it can feel fairly intimidating and very easy to get lost. Hire a guide outside and he will ensure you get around the best way possible and will take you to the best stalls to suit your needs. Selling fresh produce from oranges, olives and livestock to fake Prada sunglasses and leather Armani belts. You can grab an absolute bargain here, but not without a good old haggle. The stall owners pretend they don’t bargain, but trust me, keep at it and you’ll walk away with what you want at the price you want.

Nightlife here is fairly tame, with very few bars and clubs outside of large hotels. Most of the high standard hotels here usually offer a variety of bars including a piano bar and a customary disco offering music from the nineties. If you get the chance, don’t miss out on the trip to the Sofitel Agadir Royalbay Resort, where you can spend a night in their popular nightclub, offering the best music and entertainment along with plush dining facilities.

Agadir is a must-see for all who enjoy seeing a different culture, local ways and fantastic beaches. You’re likely to come home with more in your case than you went with, along with a warm, glowing tan and a new found love for Morocco.
