They cage you listed should be just great. IT may need a little more space. They are nice! I have a female Syrian hamster. IT takes a little time for them to get used to you. Make sure when you go to the pet store to choose one, ask to handle the hamster before you get it. Sometimes some may have some problems, or is very aggressive.
