Designer skin tanning lotion, will they let me return it?

I am guessing most tanning lotions you are not able to return to the salon.. but I payed $50.00 for this Designer skin tanning lotion called Majesty. After I used it twice I noticed both times it left me smelling really bad, even if I just showered beforehand. It has some sort of Orange juice in it so I don't know if that is it or what but I felt like I smelled really strong like cat piss. (sounds bad I know) I usually always smell really good after a tan.. with previous lotions that leave you smelling like coconuts and bananas. I sometimes hit the salon on the way to work or going out with friends, so I don't want to be smelling like this but I don't want it to be a waste of my money. Now I know that if I tell them this I doubt they will except an exchange, but what if I say I think I am alergic to something in it.. it gave me a rash or something. Do you think they would let me exchange it out for something else? What are your opinions, what do you think I should do/say??

it depends on how much of it you used you know... personally i dont think they will let you return it!
