about 5 years ago i got piz buin in a tub, can i still get it?

it was not an aftersun but a tan maximiser only to be used once you were really tanned. it was fantastic if a bit sticky.
i know with all the cancer stuff, maybe its been discontinued.
Lancaster do a similiar one, but its not as good.
Can anyone recommend anything else?
Please no lectures on suntanning, i'm natural dark and use factor 25 until the last few days. and a special facial one. thanks

I am going to give a lot of useful information on how to get rid of this skin problem. I promise you that very soon you will get a crystal clear skin. Though plainly speaking, i am not any doctor but i have an experience of going through this problem in my teens.

But i cured myself on my own efforts. What is there that i dint try to get rid of this devil but somehow i managed to succeed with a lot of positive attitude and faith in my own efforts and most of all, i trust my God more than anything else.

Now what is acne exactly?

Acne is a group of skin rashes having numerous causes. It is a fatal skin disease affecting the skin's oil glands. Nearly 17 million people in the United States are suffering from Acne.

The most affected body parts with pimples are the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Acne is not a serious health threat but, it can cause permanent scars resulting in certain complexes or psychological problems or absolute isolation.

Pimples are found in various forms like: Whiteheads (under the surface of skin), Blackheads (rise to the skin's surface and look black), Papules (small pink bumps), Pustules (red with pus on top), Nodules (large, painful, deep in the skin), Cysts (deep, painful, can cause scars).

So, to prevent yourself from this skin disease in your future and if already suffering from acne, then atleast you can control it to get worse, here are a few tips:

DOs

1. Clean Skin gently- Do not scrub to avoid acne outbreaks. Wash your face with a mild cleanser twice. Also wash your skin after heavy exercise. Do not use astringents unless the skin is very oily. Even then apply it on the oily spots only.

2. Shampoo your hair- Doctors recommend the acne patients to regularly shampoo their hair and with those with a very oily skin, must shampoo everyday.

3. Shave carefully- Comfortable electric and safety razors are good for men with acne. For men preferring a safety razor- use a sharp blade and soften your beard thoroughly with soap and water before you apply shaving cream.

4. Choose Cosmetics carefully- Just go for oil-free cosmetics. Use the products labeled as non-comedogenic (that do not promote the formation of blemishes). In some people, however, even these products may cause acne. So, be cautious.

5. Drink lots of Water- Water cleanses your body making it free from toxins. Water is the greatest alternative to medicines.

6. Take B-complex and Zinc supplements to increase the immunity of your skin against acne.

7. Ice-pack- Apply an ice pack to the pimple every 30 minutes, and hold it for about 2 minutes. This will decrease swelling and redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain following it.

High protein foods

Brown rice

Oatmeal

Fresh vegetables

1. Rough handling of the Skin- Do not risk developing scars by squeezing, pinching, or picking your blemishes. Frequent pressure on skin result in acne formation.

2. Sun tanning- A suntan or sunburn reddens the skin and makes blemishes less visible but its temporary. The sun promotes aging of skin and causes skin cancer.

3. Oily cosmetics- Avoid using facial creams or other products containing socetyl stearate, isopropyl isostearate, isopropyl palmitate, isopropyl myristate & sodium chloride. Use a natural antibacterial, oil-free face wash containing tea tree oil or a clay mask containing Echinacea.
