Few Weeks Tanning

If I go to a tanning bed a few times a week for a month, will it drastically raise my chance of skin cancer?

I only want to go tanning a few times a week for a month for an upcoming vacation -- I'm white as a ghost! But I was wondering if going a few times a month would be just as bad as going for a really long time? How much by percentage do my chances of getting skin cancer from tanning go up if I tan for a month and then quit after that?

It's not such a good idea and your skin can get very damaged. Try using a tanning lotion instead (I used it and came out with a nice glow, nothing fake)
