Please help me remember the name of an 80's Australian band?

I think the name of the band or album had the word "fall" or "fire". or "after" The lead singer was nice looking sort of tanned complexion with dark way hair and stocky build. Their style was somewhat moody rock. They had an album that I really liked from around 1988-89? I wish I had more but I dont. Dont think they ever broke out into the USA.
