My bf's family came down and stay with us for 4 days. They brought no money. Also his sisters husband brought his daughter and her daughter from a pervious marriage. There were a total of 6 people. We paid for everything. Dont you think they should have aleast offered to pay for something? They took gas from my gas can for there dirt bikes, took food that I purchased for them home, ice from my freezer to keep the water and food from my frige cold for there trip home. And to top it off, one of the girls went into my hot tub with her period. Im ready to freak!!!!!!!!!!!! How you you handle this? I was happy to pay for the full tank of gas for they ride home.

In many cases when you date or marry someone you get the family with your partner. If there is no chance that they will change and your bf doesn't or didn't put a stop to it then they will continue to take advantage as long as you let them. You must take charge of this situation and under no circumstances let them do this to you again. People like this will never get it. You can bet that they are never invited anywhere by anyone. You are probably not going to get the money you spent but you've learned from it and that is more valuable than this one time loss. What does your boyfriend say about all this? Does he defend his family's behavior? If that's the case then he's probably just like them. If it were me, I would get the hell out and find someone who's family will accept you as a person and not a food bank. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and it's a shame that people have to be that way. The girl in the hot tub is appauling. It is obvious that these people have no consideration for others and they won't change so I wouldn't even expect it. You should learn from this and stand up for yourself. If they want to come back tell them you can't afford visitors. If they say they will pay, I wouldn't believe them. I sympathize with you because I've been though similar situations. Good luck.
