I'm going back to the beach in a few days, and I need some help finding a good sunscreen for my face. It seems like no matter what I try (even if it says "Non-greasy" "won't clog pores" etc.) my face still looks horrible and greasy after putting on sunscreen. I need to use more than just a moisturizer with SPF 15; I don't want my face to burn. Somewhere around SPF 25-30 would be good. My skin is already a little oily, so that may be my problem. I think now I have this Banana Boat for faces stuff. It says it won't make your face greasy, but as soon as I put it on my face is so shiny it's almost reflective. Help please!
I don't really have time to order anything, or to go to the mall for special items. I need something I can just pick up from somewhere like Target, Walmart, K-mart, etc.
Try Neutrogena Dry touch sunblock. The regular version is fine even for the face, but I think there is a special formula just for face also. It is not greasy at all and block UVB AND UVA rays (the ones that cause wrinkles).
There is also a version by Aveeno. It is also non greasy and blocks uva and uvb. Great for sensitive skin too.
I have used these and the Clinique city block sheer with great results. I actually find they prevent my face from getting too oily. I use the Neutrogena one under my makeup as a primer too.

What to Look For in Paraben Free Face Care Products
Looking for paraben free face care? Many people are making the switch to paraben free lotions and creams. What you may not realize is this. Parabens are not the only hazardous ingredients found in skincare products.
When you look for paraben free face care, look for one that's sunscreen-free, as well. That may sound a bit strange, coming from a skincare expert. But, it is true, none the less. Most of the products designed for daily use have minor sun screening ability anyway.
People may be relying on them to heavily, because researchers have seen an increased incidence of melanoma in regular sunscreen users. Melanoma is the most serious form of skin-cancer.
In addition, some of the approved sun-screening compounds have been shown to increase free radical activity, which makes them probable carcinogens. The reason that you want paraben free lotions and creams is because parabens are probable carcinogens. If you're going to avoid one cancer-causing agent, you may as well avoid them all, if you can.
You should also make sure that the paraben free lotions and creams that you choose do not contain other artificial preservatives. Some of them are just as dangerous as parabens. They are all known allergens and many are even more irritating than parabens.
