Gold Tanning Bed Beginner Tanning Bed Questions..?
well I have never went to the tanning bed before.. So I have some questions.. Like how long do I go in for? What do I wear..? How often? Prom is in May and I want to be nice and tan.. What kind of lotion is best my mom bought me Sweet Brown.. Made by European Gold Dark Tanning Lotion.. It says that it is level 7 Bronzing Lotion.. What does that mean? Is this a good lotion?
They will deicde how long you go in. If you have lighter hair and eyes, they'll start you out low. If your hair and eyes are darker, they'll start you out higher. Usually they start you out at 8 minutes or so, and work up from there. I'd go every other day at most. You can wear anything you want in a tanning bed. I usually just wear my underwear. I wouldn't use that lotion. Bronzing lotion has bronzer in it. If you don't wipe it off right away it can stain your hands. Plus, of all the lotions I've used, the ones with bronzer make my skin look fake and uneven.

They did a study in Australia & found out that the artifical light that comes out of the beds are not good for you.
As for your face not tanning, that is because the pores on your face will not hold the colour ie: sweat , wiping of face when sweating. The pores on our faces open & shut in different weather condtions, so you will never get that perfect finish you want. trying a lighter colour might help...
But I would try asking the people that own the the business, they should know better than anyone !!! Good Luck
