Are dermatologists able to lighten the skin (pics)?

I mean here in USA.......I'm German.but I do have a darker skin color

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME LIKE DON'T Because I find pale skin attractive.............some people like tan, some people like pale skin.

So can I ask my dermatologist to do this? because I don't want to sound stupid when asking her

dont... pale doesnt look good. thats why people tan in the sun and in tanning beds, and spray themselves. ur lucky
