When I tan outside, will bees and other insects be attracted to the good smell of the oil? I'm scared of bees!?

So when I tan outside, will the bees be attracted to the good smell of my oil? It's the hawaiian tropic spf 15 oil, and I'm not here for you to tell me about how I'll get skin cancer. I'm asking if insects will be more attracted to me with the good-smelling oil and stuff, because I HATE HATE HATE insects that fly and sting, they're like my second-biggest phobia. haha.

At least you're using something with some SPF. It's not entirely unhealthy to get some sun, just unhealthy to get hours and hours without protection.

Bees probably won't be. They're more interested in color. Wasps and hornets, however, might find you interesting.

The trick is as follows: They won't sting you if you don't bother them. They can walk around without stinging. If you feel something land on you, don't scream and swat it, that WILL make it sting. Just wait, and it'll leave.
