I've read on here that Dish Soap and water kills wasps....Is this true, and is it instant???

There's this HUGE wasp in my room and I'm completely freaked out...I don't have any Raid Spray, but I read on here that Dish Soap and water kill them. It's on my ceiling, so i figured i'd spray it...If i use a spray bottle and mix dish soap and water, will the dish soap be thin enough to go through the sprayer??? I need to get into my room, but am too afraid to do so, if there's a wasp in there. Also, if it does work, will it kill it INSTANTLY?

Dress up. Hat, gloves, shoes, coat, etc. This way he cant get to you and sting you.

Close the door. You'll be in there alone with him. Be brave!

Bring a fly swatter, or a rolled up newspaper. Invaluable!! ie: A weapon!

You want about 90% water and 10% dish detergent. Open the spray valve enough to make a thick mist. TEST IT BEFORE YOU GO IN TO COMBAT!

It will not actually kill him. It will merely, if he gets a good spray do 3 things:
1) wound and cripple him.
2) make him too heavy to fly, so he'll hit the ground
3) piss him off.

Your mission is to wet him good. Then he can't fly, and is miserable, and slow, and has a hard time breathing. He'll know he is doomed.

Once you've got him down, stomp him, repeatedly with your shoe. KILL KILL KILL! Now clean up the mess with a paper towel.

Try not to soak walls, or furniture, etc. Wipe them dry after.

Take a bow. You have made humanity safer. You are a hero. Have a soda. Relax. Remember this for next time.
