Rimmel Sun Shimmer instant tan spray and gel ?

Hi I got some of this last night in the Golden Shade I got the gel to try on my face and spray for my body just to try and I just wondered is it any good really, as I have given up with the tanning sprays that are suppose to last as I tried the ambre solei one and its rubbish I find once it starts to wear off it goes patchy.

I was told that this is suppose to be good and there was quite alot of it gone in the shop.

Does it last a while ?
Does it wash of with soap and water rather than run like say if you get caught in the rain or do you need to give yourself a good scrub to get it off?
I got the golden shade as I have pale skin do you get a good tan result ?
It says its transfer resistant is it really?
How long does it last if you are not going to wash it off asap ?

Rimmel? Eeeww, rubbish! If you want a good faux glow, you need to do several things to get it right. I'm using L'Oreal Nutrisummer. It's a moisturiser with a gradual self tanner built into it and as long as you exfoliate properly first and follow the instructions, it looks great. I also use a product from Smashbox called body lights. It's a gentle shimmer that keeps your tan looking fresh and healthy. That's the trick of it. Avoid the ones that make you loook like a terricotta pot and avoid your tan looking flat and dry skin so does that. Good luck.
