Do you name your personal inanimate objects?

Like the kids in Ban and Color Guard name their instruments and flags/ rifles. My trombone's name is Dentina (It's extremely dented; not my fault). My friend's rifle is named Alfred (no idea why).

i have a Cactus called Dillan (or Dilly for short) who lives with me at Uni and comes out on the razz every now and again.

i have a little toy solider who literally goes everywhere with me and has done since i was tiny. he's called Cpl Nauyokas

i have a big Budha in my room called 'turban dave' i always rub his tummy for good luck before an important job interview etc.

basically i love to name inanimate objects both of my own and other people. my friend now has a Cactus which i named Ms Greggory and My sister has one named Steve, i think it's nice to name things as it adds more a sense of belonging and encourages us to appreciate our belongings more.

....and yes.....yes i am mad lol
