I'm doing a project and I was wondering if this translation is correct:

Drinking and Driving is just as stupid
to
tomando y guiando es tan estupido

Drinking and driving refers to being intoxicated with alcohol while operating a car, and 'is just as stupid' refers to something that just happened - something stupid happened, and drinking and driving is equally as stupid.

Does the Spanish sentence make sense?

No, it's doesn't. In this sentence the English gerunds become Spanish infinitives. So the Spanish sentence would be:

1º option: Beber y conducir es tan estúpido como... + (the previous stupid thing)
2º Beber y conducir es igual de estúpido que + (the previous stupid thing)
3º Beber y conducir es igual de estúpido. (If the previous stupid thing has been just said).

It doesn't matter how complex tattoo you have - you must know simple tattoo caring rules. At the moment nearly all tattoo salon staff give all advice for the care of your tattoos. Unfortunately hardly 50% of all people who want to get a new (or the first) )tattoo go to professional tattoo salons but doubtless it is important to understand how to keep your tattoo what it is supposed to be - attractive decoration of your body to avoid bad consequences.

Here are the rules of caring for your tattoo after you got one. My advice's main purpose is to describe how to deliver much quicker healing of the your skin under tattoo and make sure there won;t be any problems.

Main Tattoo After Care Rules

Typically tattooing, made by professional in pro tattoo salon is not dangerous and does not cause any serious troubles. Unfortunately not many will observe some simple rules of tattoo care that are definitely worth keeping in mind to prevent any potential skin problems.

For several days after tattooing skin around the tattooed image will be red and a little bit stung. After some certain time get ridf of the bandage and wash tattoo place with slightly warm water. Don't wipe your tattoo- it should dry without touching it. You may use your towel gently though.

Twice a day you have to cure the tattoo with calendula tincture, some alcohol or baby cream. Then, I'd suggest you to treat the skin with a antiseptic or ointment your tattoo specialist recommended you. All of described above will make the healing process faster

You should not apply your own medicine , because this can cause damage of the tattoo image. 2-3 days your tattoo will get "crust" which will remain up to complete healing. Period of full healing usually doesn't take more than 7-10 days.

However, much depends on the individual characteristics of your body and how complicated your tattoo is. Remember not to expose your tattoo under the direct sunlight until the complete healing. I don't recommend to visit solarium, play sports, go to the sauna or swim.

Lubricate carefully your tattooed skin before you take a shower. You will want to lubricate the area of your skin around tattoo including the tattoo itself with petroleum jelly or any fat cream. After the tattooing process is finished I'd recommend to wear loose clothes, excluding the contact of your clothing with tattooed skin surface. This is used to avoid skin irritation and unpleasant feeling.

In five or six days after the tattooing is done, you will get itch because of the crust going off your skin. When you got itch don't not scratch the tattooed area of your skin and strip off a crust. Failing doing so may cause scare!

Sometimes after healing the tattooed skin area you may to adjust the picture, as in the healing may cause or reveal "gaps" in the tattoo. Don't forget that correction of your tattoo should be done for free.

To keep your tattoo colors bright for longer time, don't overexpose your tattoo to the direct sunlight. During tanning you have to lubricate your tattoo with special cream. This helps to keep the brightness of the picture for a long time.

There are many things to remember when thinking about getting a tattoo. For example:, tattoo can not be done when you have cold and/or fever, exacerbation of chronic diseases, various skin diseases, in a state of intoxication, allergic reactions to pigment etc. Make sure your tattoo master uses only high quality tattoo equipment
