I recently started being a Consultant.I did not want to order all the inventory until I had an idea of what my customers might need or want.Still, I wish to have parties and just order from the books, after showing them what the actual product looks like.Most of my Hispanic customers tend to not be ready to buy right away anyway, so that is why I think ordering might work for me.Do any of you consultant do that and only order as you sell?Also,I actually sold my Day and Night Solutions that were in my Starter Kit to my Mother, thinking that I was not going to use that product much, now, I do not know whether to reorder those same items to try them in my facials, or to just try the samples, since I already ordered the Samples for the Nt. and Day Solution.Please advice and/or suggest.Thank You!

I would have a full-size of each product, including the night and day solutions for sampling and doing facials. Customers like to see what the product really looks like and a sampler won't do anything justice. Do keep samplers on hand though to pass out to prospective customers, to mail or include with orders, etc.

Selling out of a catelog is fine, if that is what works for you. In my experience; however, those that have inventory on hand have larger sales. Something about when you see the product you always want a bit more. I think people are less indulgent when ordering from a catelog. Also, I have quite a few customers that are with me ONLY because I have product on hand. Otherwise, they have told me, they would go to the mall because they don't like to wait.

So, if catelog ordering is your business plan, great. Just make sure you are organized and order products quickly and deliver quickly, as well. Also, Make sure you order yoruself a roll-up to put all your full-size samples in. It is great for demonstrations and keeps you very organized.
