Wella Toner in Baroness Beige?

I am planning on highlighting my hair with the Blond Brilliance kit. I'm using a cap and pulling every hole through. I have bleached my hair with this kit before. The saleslady at Sally's recommended a toner as well, and suggested Baroness Beige for me. She didn't explain how to use it? Do I rinse the bleach out of my hair, and shampoo, condition,dry and then tone, or can I tone while it's still wet after rinsing the bleach out? I have never used a toner before, so I don't want to mess my hair up.
I also know that I have to mix the toner with developer and I have that in 20 volume as well.

shampoo the bleach out of your hair and depending on your hairs condition it wouldn't hurt to condition it before the toner. Some toners you can put on wet while others you have to use on dry. You need to mix the toner with a gentle deposit developer 20 will only make it more damaged you want to deposit toner not lift it. And depending on how bad of condition your hair is I would be very careful with your ends they could grap the underlying base of the toner my guess is it's a blue violet base put it on your shafts first and then go in the last few minutes and run it through your ends and shampoo out and condition
