bronzer and pale!?

hi i have very pale skin and i like to look like a healthy golden colour (not orange). i have been using an estee lauder bronzer for a while, although i really like the golden (not orange) colour, it has shimmers in it which i hate because it looks unnatural, and it doesnt stay on very well. i was wondering if anyone knew a bronzer that stayed on very well which wasnt shimmery, orange, or that horrible clay deep red colour?? or as an alternative i was thinking about like a bronzing day gel or something? if anyone has any advice it would be great but know that i wont use self tan on my face because it hates me trust me.
