Gold and Silver together in a room?

I have silver lamps but my furniture is antique light wood with gold colored handles. What shades/sheets/or whatever else would you recommend for decor? Colors, styles?
I got a light teal color bedspread and gold/silver/teal combo pillows that are the tootsie roll shape. As for curtains and such, what comes to mind for these color combos to you?

I bought at a Strawberry Shortcake mini lamp at a thrift store for 4 dollars. She's the 1980's version.

I don't have a digital camera so I can't take a picture. It's not a lamp with a lamp shade. It's a plastic-like, bubbled type of material, and there's a little light bulb in the inside. She sits on a silver metal coil-of-sorts. It's not the modern Strawberry Shortcake, but the one I remembered as a child in the 80's. There's no tag other than voltage information. I have tried to look for pictures online, but only find night lights and regular lamps with lamp shades. This is not a lamp and not a night light. I hope someone can figure this out and possibly explain it better.
I am wondering if anyone has an idea about the year this lamp/light was made and/or has a link with a picture about it.
