Is sunscreen good for the skin even if your not exposed to the sun? Just wearing it daily? In or out of house?

I bought the new Aveeno Consinuous Protection Sunblock lotion with SPF 45 with UVA/UVB protection and was wondering if this is good to use as a daily lotion to make my skin better. I am a 20 year old male and i sorta have dry skin. Can I use this daily as a lotion even if I dont go out or if i do ? Help! Thanks.
