Weather worth it to move to Florida?

I am thinking of moving to Florida, or a state one or 2 states away from there. But I don't know what It'll b like there weather wise-Is it the way I imagine it?- Unbearably Sunny 90+ degrees everyday wearing Greasy Sunscreen sandals and shortsleeves , Never Being Able to Layer with Hoodies or Long Sleeves 365 Days A Year type of Weather? Where I am now, I have the regular cold winters and falls, and hot summers, breezy springs, and I cannot stand wearing sunscreen and walking in the hot heat esp. since I take the BUS everyday. So bottomline, if I move to Florida, Is It Gonna Be As Bad As I Imagine it? esp. since I don't have the luxury of escaping into an air-conditioned car to go where I need to go?

Hahaha. Well, I live in Boston, went to school at Florida Tech, and i noticed that the temperature is a lot more consistent in florida, except for precipitation. It will rain very hard for very short periods of time very randomly in the summer and fall, and in the winter and spring it will rain for ten minutes maybe once every 2-3 weeks. I can guarantee it will be hot and humid and the sun will be blazing every day over the summer like you described. In the fall its a little better, it transitions from about 90 daytime to 80 daytime as the season goes on. And the winters usually around 70. But keep in mind that its humid there, so when it gets below 60, it feels cooler than it really is because there is more moisture in the air. The coldest i ever saw was about 55, and night time, central fl has a few days that get into the 30s, north florida usually gets snow flurries once a year and frost a couple times.

To answer your question, you will get to wear hoodies about 2-3 months a year and only really at night in florida. Being without a/c is definitely do-able, but a lot of the time you will be pretty miserable because the air is very thick so when your driving fast windows down, the air doesnt feel very refreshing. The land is very flat and muggy. Also, you have the hurricane threat. I would recommend Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, Charlotte area. Or if your looking for beach, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, SC, Savannah, Virginia Beach. In those areas, you will have more of a season change. It will be hot in the summer, warm in the spring/fall, and cool and mild in the winter. In orlando, tampa, or miami, i can guarantee it will be hot during the summer, but i cannot guarantee that any given day in the winter it wont be 80 or so. A little further north, it will be a hot summer, but a bit more of a temperature transition in the winter.

Top Sea Kayaking Trips in Vietnam

Ha Long Bay
This is the premier sea kayaking trip in Asia. Start out in Ha Long city and spend seven days paddling through the emerald-blue water of the Ha Long Bay World Heritage site. Thousands of islands dot the seascape while millions of brightly colored fish swirl through the water below you. You can spend hours exploring the caves and grottoes sprinkled through the larger islands and marvel at the formations of the smaller ones.

Cat Ba Island

Most expeditions start in Ho Chi Minh City and go on a circuit of small towns and islands in the river delta. Ba Be Lake
This inland lake has been designated a national park and is divided into three parts giving it its name, which means “three lakes”. Set in Northern Vietnam, these trips generally will start in Hanoi with a cross-country drive into the hill country to Ba Be Lake. Travelers can visit hill country museums in Hanoi to get a better understanding of the cultures they will experience on the drive and in the towns dotting the lake’s edges. Preparation
It is important to have the right visa when traveling anywhere; even when kayaking the bay. Visa applications to Vietnam are 30-day single-entry tourist visas and must be applied for at least six months prior to the date of entry. The visa specifies the arrival and departure dates but can be extended once inside the country. The application packet can be found at the Vietnam embassy website. Be sure to take extra passport-sized photos for the local officials if they request them. Carry your passport with you when kayaking for easy access in case you are stopped by officials.

Things to Remember
Do not attempt to take a kayaking trip during the monsoon season in May through October. Weather for the rest of the year will be warm and you will need to take plenty of water and sunscreen.
Most of all, remember to have a good time. Going at the right time of year and careful planning of the trip will ensure it goes smoothly and a little forethought will help keep you away from problems in the future.
