Should I put lotion on my face after washing it with acne wash?

Okay... I have Olay Rejenerative's (or however you spell that)... Can I put lotion on my face after washing it with this? The lotion is called "Magnifico" and I got it from Sun Tan City... I also have some "Cherry Blossom" lotion that came from bath and body works.

It's fine to use moisturizer after acne wash. In fact, it's required for some acne products that contain AHA's which make your skin dry and sensitive to the sun.

However, when using facial moisturizer you need to make ABSOLUTELY SURE it says it's either oil-free, hypoallergenic, or non-comedogenic. These mean it won't clog pores. If it isn't any of these things, it will clog your pores and make your acne ten times worse. Using moisturizer on your face isn't like using it on your body. Body lotion and facial moisturizer are two very different things with different ingredients and purposes. It's also best to get a facial moisturizer that has SPF in it, as this will help protect your skin. Don't use bath and body works as it's scented, meaning it has fragrances and coloring in the ingredients, both of which are known to irritate skin and worsen existing skin conditions. Try Aveeno or Cetaphil, or a generic brand similar. I use CVS brand knockoff of Aveeno and it works great. If you get moisturizer with something called light diffusers in it, it will even out your tone and make your face shine also, which is definitely a plus. I wouldn't trust any skincare product bought from a tanning supplier. Tanning salons and tanning brands are all about making your skin pretty, not healthy. This is fine for some people, however, if you already have acne, it's the exact opposite: healthy products will make you pretty and products to make you pretty will only make your skin worse.
