Tanning lotions for tanning beds?

Hey everybody ! I went to the tanning salon for the first time and i bought a lotion sample in the little packets but i didn't use it yet, i was just wondering, how do you know if the lotion you buy has one of those tingling sensations in it? I heard about the lotions that make your skin tingle but i'm really scared to use one like that and i never want to try them....I read the packet and it doesn't say anything about tingling but i am still worried...how would i know ? The lotion is from Supre and the name is Secret Crush Dark Tan Maximizer.

The lotion you have is not a tingle - it's a plain non-bronzing lotion that will help your skin produce more melanin - that's it. The best way to find out which lotions are tingles is to ask the salon staff - they would know which ones are and are not.

Other than that look for words such as HOT, SIZZLE, TINGLE, EXTREME HEAT - things like that. Some include bronzers so don't let the X factor (10X, 15X, 20X) fool you - it has nothing to do with the tingle, only with the bronzing level.

The Proper Application Of Tanning Lotion

So you're ready for a great tan but aren't sure of the best way to use tanning lotion. Whether tanning during vacation, in your own back yard, by a pool, or in a tanning salon, tanning lotion is essential to have a great tan while maintaining good skin health. But using tanning lotion isn't enough; you must apply it correctly to reap the full benefits.

First, choose the proper tanning lotion. Look for lotions with a high SPF (sun protection factor) if possible. These will allow you to tan safely without risk of sunburn and overexposure to UVA and UVB rays from the sun. It's also a good idea to buy after-sun or after-tan lotion to help minimize peeling, replenish the skin with nutrients, and make your tan last longer. Before Application
