What is the best makeup style for a person with medium-dark skin?

I want to go for a look that best suits my skin tone. I am not the lightest person in the world but my skin is in between light and is a little bit closer to dark. So a medium dark. I am only 13 so i need something that is super pretty and hot but age appropriate for me and school. Thanks!!!
