How do you lay down on one of those rafts in the pool without getting wet?

How do you get on one of those without getting water in it or you getting wet? I want to relax and tan on one of those but i always fall into the freezing cold pool when it turns over! Or water leaks in... keep in mind it is well blown up.

You don't, really, and shouldn't expect to. You're in a pool, and inflatable pool rafts are simply not structurally sound enough to protect you from all that water around you. You want to relax and tan without getting wet, find a nice lounge chair next to the pool, and stay out of the water.
