Powerful Sun Why is that we couldn't see the beam of Sun light falls on the moon, even in the night sky?
Even we can see the tiny torch's light beam during the pitch dark night. But why we couldn't see the powerful Sun's rays' of beam falling on relatively large face of moon?
Because on earth when you shine a torch, the beam's of light actually reflect off of the particles in the air like dust, fog, tiny water droplets, all that are barely visible. (even somthing like smoke -- you know in movies when they use smoke to see where the lasers are)
but in the vacuum of space the beam of light doesn't hit anything until it reaches the moon. so it only reflects off of the moon.
