relief for my ears? OWWIE OWWIE!! help?

i just slightly gauged my ears, im having a little problem moving the earring around to loosen the hole up, but they are very sore.

i have aloe vera cooling gel i use for sunburns, is it okay to put on my ears to cool them off???

There could be something like an infection (an example only) going on, but I would not recommend putting the aloe vera cooling gel on that area until checking with your doctor first to see what they say.

How to treat sunburn naturally? Here’s your grandma’s sunburn remedy

Last year my wife and I went on a Caribbean vacation.Last year my wife and I went on a Caribbean vacation. We packed all the essentials including a sunscreen lotion that we found buried in the closet. After a day in the hot Caribbean sun, we’ve found out that the lotion was long past its recommended use date. You can also imagine that we’ve spent the next three days between taking ice baths and sitting on our room’s air conditioner.

Sun burn isn’t fun, especially if you have nothing to soothe the pain with. What if you’re not on a deserted island, but still won’t go for off the counter burn medicine? I remember that when I was little, and came back from the beach all red and hot, my mother used to rub yogurt on my sunburns. To this very day, every time I get burned someway or another, I put yogurt, preferably Greek…actually any yogurt will do.

There are many natural sun burn remedies and lotions that you can make by yourself. Some of them work wonders; others won’t do anything except make you feel silly. But most of them are available in your own home to try.

Tea is a great natural remedy for many and many health issues and it does magic with sunburns. Not if you drink it or brew it on your body. But if you make tea, especially herbal tea or black tea, cool it, and use a soft cloth to apply it on your sunburns, it will really ease the pain.

Bath.

If you’re sunburned, you are probably in a tub right now. But how about throwing in some dried chamomile? And what would you say about an oatmeal bath? You can use unflavored oatmeal or quick oats, then soak for at least 15 minuets and let the pain soothe away. Oh, and that baking soda that’s absorbing smells in your fridge? You can bathe yourself in it as well. Add about ¼ cup to help balance the body’s pH level.

Cucumbers are great in a salad and on your skin. Why do you think there are so many cucumber lotions and creams out there? But if you got a green one in the fridge, you can just slice it and put it on affected area. You can also squeeze some cucumber juice and rub it on like there’s no tomorrow.

Aloe.

But real aloe vera! Not the one you buy in the pharmacy. If you constantly have to deal with burnt children, grow an aloe plant, and when the sun calls, cut a big piece of the plant and put it on the burn, covering the plant with medical tape or bandage.

What ever you decide to do, never mix a tea-aloe-yogurt-oatmeal-cucumber-baking-soda-bath. Just pick one method of treatment and give it a try. If the burn is severe, if you have big blisters or feel dehydrated, contact your doctor immediately.
