Temperature Sensors

Temperature sensors need to be very accurate and clear in displaying of temperature levels. At the same time, they need to be extremely durable and able to withstand extremely high temperature levels and low temperature levels depending upon the manufacturing or the industrial process they are being used for.

Temperature sensors are used to measure temperature or temperature gradient as required by the process. If explaining  Temperature sensors to layman terms, the word thermometer is most self explanatory. Hence, thermometers not only detect the change in the temperature but also convert it into a value as well. You can note the temperature level in most of the industrial thermometers through a digital display or input to a computer.

A battery powered Temperature sensors is very accurate and a well performing device. Ideally it can measure temperatures from -200 to +850°C while its accuracy stands at .3°C.
