Poem. Is it halfway decent?

Put the gun down
You oblivious, imbecilic, paramour of mine
My addiction, my fixation
You’re torturing me with your hand on that disgraceful trigger

Oh please let him realize my ache for him
The paroxysm of this is driving me into deranged affliction

Oh sweet, sweet darling
Put it down, thy object that strikes fear into the very core of me
I do not know, what I would do without you, my love
Please, darling, the light of my life

I do not know how to deal with his suicide
It wretches deep inside me
That I could not stop him
The agony throbs, and won’t seize

She whispers "God help me"
The blade sinks into her skin
And her wrists bleed a deep, horrifying, ruby red

I really like it, thanks for sharing! "The paroxysm of this is driving me into deranged affliction" is my favorite line, it really expresses well the emotion that you are trying to convey. I especially enjoyed this because it challenged me to think much deeper than some of the poetry I read here. Thanks again
