Skincare Sunscreen A question for older women concerning skincare?
I am twenty one, I wear sunscreen and I don't smoke, but what can I do to prevent wrinkles besides the obvious? Are there any good skin care brands to use? I use Clinique, is that good? My mom looks ten years older than she really is, and she smoked and stayed out in the sun, and I want to stay young looking.
I'll be 40 this summer and have used Mary Kay since I was 19 or so. I don't have any wrinkle and look much younger than my age.
My #1 secret that I've been doing since I was about your age is putting Vaseline under my eyes at bed time. I think this has helped prevent wrinkles from forming around my eyes. Vaseline doesn't cause breakouts either, like you'd think it would. I swear by the stuff!
My best friend from high school always thought I was crazy for putting Vaseline under my eyes at bed time but when she started getting wrinkly in her mid 30's and I didn't she finally started using Vaseline too and it's helped her so much. She didn't get rid of her wrinkles but the she hasn't gotten any new wrinkles.
