What age do you think is an appropriate age for tanning beds?

I'm 13 going into high school. I wanna go back to school looking different so I thought i'd try a tan. I don't want to turn an extremely dark colour. Just two shades or so darker than I am now. I don't want to get a spray tan or use the lotions because I want it to a long period of time. Also, I'm worried I'll turn orange. I live in an apartment so I don't have a backyard I can tan in or else I would and there are no beaches near me. Do you think I'm too young to be going into a tanning bed? I have the waiver my mom would have to sign already at home but what are your opinions? I understand the risks of tanning beds but I promise I won't overdue it.

I really wanted to but I think what's keeping me back is people's opinions.
I've tried Jergens. It didn't make a big enough difference for me.

Because you're so young, I wouldn't recommend it, as you're more likely to develop skin cancer if you get UV damage at a young age. I actually wouldn't recommend it at all, but I won't condemn it. If you think you want to, then go hard. It's your life and other people's opinions shouldn't hold you back.
