how to make a teen girls bedroom look more mature?

My room has a dark wooden desk, a light wooden dresser and matching nightstand, white bookshelves, a full bed with a dark blue comforter, a stereo system, a desk chair, a large bean bag chair that is tan suede,a full length mirror and a closet.
i have materials such as paper, pens, glue, tape,scrapbooking stuff, a computer, existing things in my room, a lot of normal stuff in rooms, art supplies, cloth.
My room is medium size.

any tips on my room- how it looks, how i should change it, ways to make it more mature would be great

First thing first, take down any posters, artwork, and displays you have that reflect your interests. I know this seems counterintuitive, as it's your room, but adults (mature ones, anyway) don't advertise to themselves about bands they like or movie stars they have a crush on. You didn't mention having any of this up, so you're probably already set.

Next, focus on the furniture in the bedroom and its layout. Particleboard furniture (you said "wooden," so I'm not sure) screams to others that your parents pieced together your furnishings, or that you're a starving college student. Ideally, your furniture should match in color and in styling, but it's unnecessary to have all your furniture come from a matched collection. Choose your favorite piece, and try to match the wood tones of the remaining furniture to it. Dark colors, like espresso and walnut tend to look more mature than light pine colors and white. Pay attention to the styling of the furniture also. Clean, contemporary furniture is popular with young adults, which would be appropriate for you. There should be a lot of straight, clean lines, on the major pieces, and one or two pieces should feature asymmetric curves, such as a three-legged kidney shaped coffee table or somesuch. Alternatively, mission-style furniture works well for any age, and isn't too contemporary or too country. You can find some good examples of this style on Google Images to get an idea of what's available. You don't absolutely have to match the colors of the furniture, but it's important that the styles are compatible.

Third, give your bed a makeover. Have your sheets, blanket/comforter, and pillows all match. You can get away with a "bed in a box" type ensemble, or pick out individual pieces that fit the color scheme you like. The pattern on the sheets/blanket should be no more complicated than a geometric pattern or a very simple vine/floral pattern. Avoid bedsets that have detailed pictures, say one that features a nature scene or a skyscape. You may choose to get shams (decorative pillows that go over the ones you use) or not. I'd avoid getting accent pillows, as the bed gets cluttered quickly.

When you decide on the color scheme of your room, pick two or three colors and stick to those, for the most part. That doesn't mean that everything in the room needs to be the same pattern. Let's say you choose cream, light blue, and brown. Your bedding can feature all of those, but your chair could be cream with maybe a brown floor mat, and you can have light blue storage containers. You want the room to be tied together, but you don't want everything to feature all of the colors. Pick colors you like, but don't pick three shades of the same color. Two shades and a different color is acceptable.

Lastly, get organized. Find smart ways to store your stuff. A grid-pattern bookcase that matches your furntiture is great, and a small floating shelf here or there doesn't hurt, either. As a general rule, anything not on a shelf or bookshelf should be put away out of sight. The shelves are as much a display as they are storage. Display your favorite books, small decorative pieces (don't go overboard and try to match these to the room), and things that you would want people to see. I have a trio of plain glass cylinders on mine, which I've put some river rocks into and filled with water. Two of them contain betta fish, each a different color, and the third has lucky bamboo. For your pens, notebooks, etc., get them out of sight, but keep them accessible. Colored totes work fine for this, and are inexpensive. Fabric-covered banker's boxes (cardboard filing boxes with lids) are even better, and you can choose a fabric that matches your colors exactly. They can be made for cheap, and if you ever redecorate, you can update them with new fabric. For the most part, take care to keep your desk, your bed, and the floor free of clutter.

For a finishing touch, find one or two pieces of artwork that aren't too showy. A black and white photograph works well almost anywere, and a simple sculpture can work on one of your shelves. I keep geodes and rough mineral specimens displayed here and there in my home, which is a pleasant way to break up contemporary decorating.

Anyway, I know you're a teenager and you don't have mountains of money to devote to this. Plan out the way you want it to look when it's finished--that way it doesn't end up looking pieced-together. Then, start with the cheap stuff. Get the storage squared away, get the bedding if you can, and maybe ask your parents for a bookshelf or floating wall shelves. Getting your clutter out-of-sight and coordinating your room colors alone will get you 80% of the way there. Good luck!
