How frequently should I visit a tanning salon in order to maintain a summer tan?

After getting your base tan the color you like, it could be as little as once a week. If that doesn't work, try twice a week. Keeping your skin exfoliated and moisturized will help extend your tan. A good salon quality moisturizer is best. Some over the counter ones contain sunscreen or sunblock that will hinder the tanning process.
