my dad is allergic to the sun. he wants to go into a tanning bed but put on medication when he does?

i am going to vegas next week and my dad has been talking about tanning in a sun bed so he wont be so pale when he goes to vegas. my dad is allergic to the sun and he wants to go tanning in a tanning booth but put on medication in a few places where he breaks out the most... is this okay? he does not want to get a spray on tan and i have tried talking him out of it. so i was just wondering if this would be the least bit okay or if it was extremely dangerous.

This is SOOO a question for your Dad's doctor. If he's really allergic to the sun, a tanning bed isn't giong to help, it's going to make it worse. An allergy isn't something you can just 'get yourself used to'. It's your body FREAKING OUT about something, and nothing you do is going to calm it down. Your father needs to follow his doctor's directions and stay away from the sun.

Culture, Nature , Sea & Sun in Anzio Near Rome

ANZIO
