What is "light"? Meaning why can I see things when I turn on a light bulb, or when the sun shines?

What is the physical process happening when a light wave/particle hits an object? Do my eyes work like "radar" and receive the bounced wave/particle?

Your eyes don't work like radar because radar produces the electromagnetic radiation AND perceives the reflected energy. Your eyes do not generate any radiation, they merely perceive the light that is reflected by objects from other light sources (the sun or the light bulb).

I make this distinction because early philosophers actually DID believe that the eyes sent out some form of beam to sense the objects, rather than the opposite.

The Different Types of LED Light Bulbs in the Market Today

LED Light Bulbs can be bought online today. LEDs are nothing but the Light Emitting Diodes. These bulbs are used for the directional lights. Therefore we can use it for focusing purpose. Color of the LED is closer to that of the day light color therefore new studies says that these are good for alertness. These LEDs are nicely replacing standard Halogen or fluorescent bulbs.
