fair skin, wearing sunblock a must?

so there are skin care essentials like moisturizer, something that exfoliates, sun screen, etc. im a teenager now, and my skin is healthy, but that doesnt mean i shouldnt try take care of it.

i have very fair skin, and i know that tanning is unhealthy, and it causes wrinkles and cancer. i would like to wear sun block on a daily basis to protect the skin on my face because i know its exposed to the sun often. but im not going to straight up put sunblock on my face. i hate the way it feels. it just makes me want to go take a shower. (i also dont wear makeup)

are there any alternatives that work just as well?

I totally know what you mean. Try to find a moisturizer that you like that has an spf in it, I use one by clinique but everyone has different preferences for moisturizers.
Neutrogena makes a really nice sunblock that doesn't feel too heavy or greasy for those days when you really do need to wear a sunblock on your face, its called Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch sunblock, it's the only one I can stand on my face.
