Is there anything negative about wearing sun lotion everyday?

Hi, I'm on medication, and it makes my skin really senstive to the sun, plus I am already really pale so I'm naturally insensitive to it.
So I make sure to put sun lotion on my face everyday
Is there anything bad about doing this? Could it cause cancer or wrinkles and various other unwanted things?
