You don't want to look sexy with tan skin now, only to end up in the hospital because of skin cancer, do you?
So here are some basic tips about how to protect your skin from the sunlight:
Trying to avoid the sun around 10 am -- 4 pm because the sun rays are strongest during this time.
The UV rays could get through the mirror or reflect from the subjects around you, so you should always wear sunscreen with at least a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15, even you are doing indoor activities.
Try to stay in the shade as much as you can.
When you are doing activities outdoor, SPF 15 might not be enough so you should apply the sunscreen with higher SPF. If you are going to the beach, swimming or going to spend long hours under the strong sun, be sure to reapply at least every 2 hours.
Wear clothes that protect your skin as much as possible, such as long sleeves shirts, long pants and a hat if you can.
