Foot Tattoo, sunblock, going to the beach.?

I have a small tattoo on the top of my foot that i got 5 days ago. It seems healed pretty much. I have followed the care guide, but what about the sun? If I have sandals on the sun is hitting it directly. And my kids want to go to the beach. I have baby sunblock Fragrance free 60 spf.
Is there a reason NOT to wear sunblock until completely healed?

And what about the water? I am hearing conflicting advise. Its ok to soak it, its not.. bla bla. I cant find any useful information. The shop i went to did not give me enough information. My other tattoos are in hidden places so the sun does not hit them really.

You can go to the beach if you use common sense and are careful.
5 days is generally not long enough to be completely healed. Most people consider aftercare for a week a minimum. I would advise covering with something like a sock or bandage as a step beyond suncreen. I'd also advise against long soaking in the water. I would guess it's unlikely that you'll go in and get out within a minute or two so you might be better just to stay on your beahk towel. Sea water will not hurt you, but the salt can have a drying effect. Bring some hand lotion with you so that you don't let it dry out. Gently wash it when you get home.

A kid sprayed sunblock on my car while spraying himself. How do I get it off my car?

He's 4 and it was an accident, but I had no idea that it would stay like it did. I washed my car and it's still there! It was Coppertone Kids clear spray(if that matters).

How are you washing your car? If your just using one of the auto wash or spray washers then that’s the problem. You need to hand wash the car with some good auto detergent. use a cotton wash cloth to keep from scratching the paint. you may need to put a little bit of elbow grease in to it but it should come off pretty easy. The auto detergent is formulated for road tar and oil that often collects on cars and it is also safe for the finish of the car. You can pick them up from the auto parts store for around 4 bucks. Hand washing is best for the car and it's finish. Be sure to not wash the car while in direct sunlight as the metal will cause the water to evaporate very quickly. If you do not rise in time you will dry the detergent to the finish and this will cause even more problems.
